October’s Mission of the Month is the Village of Colonie’s Help a Veteran Program. In addition to our monetary donations, the program is also looking for donations of the following items: grocery items (Chef Boyardee, cups of noodles, ramen, peanut butter, canned chicken/tuna, soup, canned vegetables, spaghetti, oatmeal, instant rice/ potatoes), gift cards (in $25 increments to Price Chopper, Hannaford, etc.), toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo, razors, conditioner, nail clippers, body wash, lotion, deodorant), coats, hats, scarves, gloves, socks and underwear. Please note that all items must be new. Items can be brought to church or dropped off at the Village Senior Center on Thunder Road.
